Luke Andresen’s new album Data Entry features long-time collaborators Sam Anning on Electric Bass and Bernard Alexander on Saxophones.

Data Entry is both an acknowledgement of the masters of the Chord-less trio format (Sax, Bass, Drums) and a love letter to more contemporary groups with drummer composer/bandleaders such as the Brian Blade Fellowship Band, Happy Apple and Alasnoaxis.

Andresen’s compositions are specifically tailored to the strengths of his band mates, showcasing their improvisational voices and prioritising band dialogue.
